چکیده

Hypereosinophilic syndrome (HES) is a rare disorder that is characterized by elevated eosinophilic counts above 1.5×109/l for greater than 6 months without any underlying causes [1]. The disease can affect multiple organs with a varied clinical presentation and may also affect the skin [2]. Skin lesions can be the dominating and/or presenting symptom affecting up to 50% of patients with HES [2]. We here present a case of HES with cutaneous involvement as presenting and dominating symptom.

Synchronous malignant B-cell lymphoma and gastric tubular adenocarcinoma associated with paraneoplastic cutaneous vasculitis: hypereosinophilic syndrome with mixed cryoglobulinemia is an important sign of paraneoplastic syndrome

Gastric adenocarcinoma developing concomitantly with a lymphoma is rare. Furthermore, B-cell lymphoma, originating from lymph nodes, with eosinophilia is extremely rare. We report here a case with a synchronous diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) and an early adenocarcinoma of the stomach. In addition, this case seemed to be associated with paraneoplastic cutaneous vasculitis caused by hypere...

Wells Syndrome with Multiorgan Involvement Mimicking Hypereosinophilic Syndrome

Eosinophil-associated diseases represent a spectrum of heterogeneous disorders, where blood and cutaneous eosinophilia is the most important feature and eosinophils are the principal cause of cutaneous lesions. These diseases show some similarities in the clinical features but also many distinctive characteristics [Saurat et al., Dermatologia e malattie sessualmente trasmesse, Milano, Masson, 2...
